I Can say that Both Shindig + Stonelove, Wax on and Hed kandi are Leaving Foundation in july ,

I was pretty impressed with the club when Shindig held its birthday party there last year, apparently the gay night has fell flat on its arse since Camp David and The Loft opened so it is moving to a smaller venue, that being Sugar, paving the way for Shindig to move into the Powerhouse. The lad who owns Shindig has also bought the three bars next to the powerhouse

I also think this move could be the death of Stereo

I thought it was quite good apart from the strobe on full belt all night , and then some big freak tryin to grab me fun stuff

does it hold anywhere near as many people as foundation?

Powerhouse is a wicked house club and perfectly suits the dark bassy house sound because its very very dark

Shindig did their birthday in Times Sq i.e the Powerhouse etc last year and there was a lot of chew over drink prices.

I think the end result was that they said they wouldn't work with them again hence it being at the Baltic this year.

perhaps buying the place would solve that problem!

i agree with spence the flats will appeal to young profs who love to get wrecked and go clubbing the flats can only be a plus point for foundation it will make it less dounting for new comers and make it more upmarket

would any of you turn down a pad there???

More to the point, would any of you be able to afford a flat there? The majority of these new builds will be way out of the price range of most young clubbers.
