I wouldnt have thought so as the people who go to Wax:On/Shindig dont generally tend to go to Promise

    Yep:up:

Its all sounding very interesting. Ive been goin to Shindig since 97 and it is sad its leaving Foundation but if that system they are puttin in Digital lives upto the hype then its gonna be a class venue.

    :D

    Maybe.

So Wax-on is going to be on every Friday?

I'd like to hear what is happening with Promise tbh

It all sounds very exciting tbh, can't wait to go to the new club. Wonder who they'll have on first, Yousef?

    fuck me this sounds impressive.

well excited about this now. heard some of the line-ups for the first month of shindig too.

from my point this is VERY positive step, at first i was a little sceptical as i thought the move was all for negative reasons.

how wrong was i! and for anyone who thought shindig had lost interest (you know who you are, paul!) i think this proves they haven't! get in....!!!!!!

    :D :D :D

    This all sounds good.

Like the name-change to Digital. Cant really tell people at work i went to Powerhouse at the weekend.

Good capacity at 1450. As i think Paul said, the likes of Coco V and The Forth will benefit a lot.

Stereo will suffer badly on Thursday ansd Saturdays id have thought.

All exciting! Wax on going weekly too.

Now lets just wait and see what booking there is! :)

I for one, will miss Foundation though. :(

    Yeah, def for the best.

The 29th/30th is gonna be a hell of a weekend in Newcastle.

With our Habit event at the Sage, Wax:On opening, Hold it Down, Promise all on the Friday. Then Shindig opening on the Sat.

I think Foundation is gonna struggle as it may become 'un-cool' very quickly.....

its gonna be one heavy weekend!

according to the subliminal website, Jose Nunez is playing shindig on Jul 30th, so im guessing he is the opening night?
