Cheers for all the supportive comments - were really blown away with the response so far!
I've attached a few pic's of the Venue in full swing courtesy of past Habit events, hopefully it should give those that haven't yet made it to the Warehouse an idea of what to expect.

This could be great however I do get the feeling it will get rammed with the usual charver bell ends who go to digital putting off people from elsewhere who would travel to a ds event.

I don't think we'd have many problems with the henleys brigade like. DS isn't a brand they'd recognise, Hoults Yard isn't a venue they'd have heard of and unless its PVD or Judge Jules banging out the waxa's, they probably wont have heard of the djs either.

Let's just hope the percentage of radgies that make up trance events in town will be replaced by people travelling from other cities.

Well one thing it's going for it is it's not too far from the quayside hotels like the Premier etc. Cos l can't see it getting a 6am licence.

There will have to be some careful consideration over the lineup if they want to pull people in, I reckon.

Newcastle is a hard city to crack these days, though it does have potential!

Aye Rossy, there's a fine line between appealing to the henleys deluxe mob and keeping it on the down low so much no one knows about it. Like it or not Newcastle, as a relitevely small clubbing city needs radgies to make up the numbers.

In that case your better off going to different cities for a change of scenery in my opinion.

Thanks for all of the kind words and support thus far guys!

It will be an absolute pleasure, to bring arguably one of the most exciting brands in the country to our home town in 2011.

Full info and line up details will be made available soon, however you can keep up to date with all news by joining our FB group here: http://on.fb.me/3kLYBF

This will be class, well done Proudy.

I don't think the charver brigade will be there, as far as trance goes it's quite cool and under the radar so Adams right. For once.

The phoney brigade however will have no where to hide, you all have literally nothing stopping you actually going out now, no more excuses!

Looking forward to this - it'l all be worth it to see the smile on Rossys little face.

Aye, if anybody can crack Newcastle it's going to be digital society. I for one am going to be a right happy euphoric little cherub.

Are there actually any other credible trance brands in the UK?

I can literally think of one. Humans are a fickle bunch tom. The culture discards everything in due time.

The Gallery's lineups are always outstanding, most memorable night of the year for me was going there this year, would love to get back again it's just a bit of a trek!

You'd probably still include Gods in the credible, whilst they don't take as many risks as DS their lineups are always a good standard and Emery's own Garuda lineups in Manchester have always been spot on.
