Baring your comment in mind it doesn't sound like you've lost interest, you've just done what most of us do from time to time & decide that it's time to put your money into or towards something, therefore having to make sacrifices to such things like Clubbing. A large chunk of my money goes on Music, new Equiptment etc... im always looking for the more sensible option or something i'm gunna benefit from long term (in an ideal world) but I'd be stupid to say id lost interest in Clubbing or getting smashed as I love it & most probably always will, im never gunna think that because of my age im getting too old for things. When I cant walk or have lost my hearing then suppose i'll call it a day Lol:D

haha I was just messing with ya's! Seriously tho, Im trying to cut down to just going out once a weekend. I only partied till about 6pm on Saturday after Detox and it was nice being able to do stuff on the Sunday. I made a big pan of soup and cleaned my flat up, it felt like I was going for housewife of the year award! I never really enjoy the saturday anyways after having no sleep, I can never get wrecked no matter what I take/drink and I never have any patter. I reckon another year and Ill be whinging about how "its not like it used to be," arguing with anyone who will bite on here and going on holiday 7 times a year! I can hardly wait :cool2:

    Oops, sorry :p

Its pretty shit I think. I was on 26 at my last dump. I love bank holiday even more these days lol. I suppose my savings would take a battering if I had more days off, so a blessing...kinda :(

    I wasnt offended, dont worry....
Everyone just grows up, prorities change and you'll find clubbing just isnt as high up there as it used to be :)
I still love dance music and listen to it loads....i'm only in my early 20s and feel like i'm the oldest when i go to some nights out!! (not so much at minimal/techy nights, but trance nights for sure)

Oi i thought i stood pretty well at judgment day, i was giving it some welly!

I dont think places have much charm any more. I used to love random banter with pillheads in promise bogs etc.

I think i probably do still like it deep down, like proudy said i guess im just finding other things to do with money now.

Although im still getting pissed a lot tho admittedly :D

    Me too, it was great!

Not as arsed about clubbing now. I've got a "proper" job now, and can't cope with feeling shite on work days! Saying that, I felt pretty shite today after a weekend away in Edinburgh with everyone from work!!

I went to Creamfields 2005, and then Global 2006 and 2007, but the first time I went clubbing properly was Goodgreef on the Boat August bank holiday last year!

I started 10 years ago and after the honeymoon period where all i could talk about was going out and avin it, I steadied off and only went out when something good was happening or when a pile of mates were going out. that means maybe once a month now. Clubs in general piss me off because I hate all the security and heavy handed doormen and inflated prices and no water in the bogs and all that stuff. house parties are good and offside nights are much more fun but hard to find good ones. my mates have gradually stopped going out which is a combination of shit drugs and feeling like an old farts when surrounded by 20 year olds.
I still love the music and the atmosphere of a good rave though and still seek it out where i can even though i feel slightly ridiculous at my advanced age. but one of the main advantages of getting older is that you stop caring what people think about you.
you don't have to spend a fortune to have a good time. just don't drink loads of booze.

    :) :) :)

if i was the drugs czar i would flood the market with shit do nothing drugs untill everybody just stopped buying them in disgust. anyone trying them for the first time would not bother doing them again and the whole clubbing scene would wither, dry up and blow away. hang on........
