Shearer was unlucky with his volley would of been a great goal that.

it would have been, the cross was class, shearer could have angled the shot a bit lower in my opinion:D :D :D :D :D :D but at his age and hes still producing the goods aganst all the younguns, round of applause 4 sir alan shearer, he is a sir isnt he, if not alan shearer:) :) :)

You guys are gonna have to hunt for a damn good replacement for him soon and sir bobby's not got long left in footy either. I heard a rumour about beattie as a replacement but although he looks class at the moment he isn't neccessarily gonna stay that way (flash in pan or new star?). Although it hurts greatly to say this you have a good team, but there is something unconvincing about your players, tactics and squad depth.

Ya never know if ya not careful you could go the way of leeds... or sunderland!

Boro top o the north east!:D

Beattie and Smith are the two that could replace Shearer.

Smith is a better all round player, but Beattie scores more goals. We gotta get one of them signed soon though, cos Big Al wont last forever.

Got a class defence, especially when big ugo gets back, midfield looks world class (juno, mendieta, zenden, boateng and doriva) but strikers lack bite. Still hoping christie and nemeth come good cos I gave up on maccarone and ricketts long ago!:D

Your so solid defence has let four less goals in than our 'leaky' defence.

Midfield is world class (Boro reserve,Lazio reserve,Chelsea reserve,Boateng)

    Strikers lack a bit! A BIT! A BIT!
