The conditions are looking bleak in one direction but much better in the other, because Australia have chosen to go off they can decide to come back on in this light while it remains the same. There has been some flashes of lightning over the back of the new Vauxhall Road stand. Well here's a strange choice, Australia's opening duo have been offered the light and are heading straight back to the pavilion. :alugh::laugh: Rain forcast on and off tomorrow too
First ball of the day, Hoggard traps Langer. It was out out out out out out. Not given. What a start it should have been.
Freddies just got one! Fuckin hell we could do with a couple more quick ones though. 264-2. Harmison is bowling pies, as he has been most of the series. We miss Jones badly. But while theres Freddie, theres always hope.
Amazing statistic - Gilchrist had never been out LBW to a pace/seam/swing bowler in his entire career until the fourth test of this series. Now Hoggard has just got him trapped in front for the second match running!
LOOK LIKE THE ASHES ARE COMING HOME Flintoff is a national hero now... Shame we could nto get more cricket in today tho
They also cant moan cos apart from the 1st test we have been the better side and we poved that today with 8 wickets for 90 runs
Why? The less cricket the better, we can end up loosing the match if we go for a win, and i dont care about how its going to be "negative" to play for a draw because i dont care if we draw so long as we win the series and win the ashes and if that means bad weather and light meaning less overs in a day then so be it.
He's probably only saying it because if the media get hold of Freddy Flintoff quotes saying the england team will play for a draw then there'll be a media frenzy...... ........oh wait its not the real Andrew Flintoff is it
I'm fully aware that no play is a good thing but i personally would rather see some cricket and england doing well, I would prefere to see england bat a decent total than no play at all... Pretty simple really. Any true cricket fan would agree not just these fairweather fans that seem to have jumped on the bandwagon and did not watch us get whooped by the West indies many times and the humaliationg defeat from NZ in 99 that saw us plunge to very low depeth indeed......... Looks like all the Fairweather england rugby fans have a new sport to watch
