Its great so far ain't it.. wonder why they released the first 10mins of episode 5 though

I hope those arent the real episodes ... I hope they leaked 4 altered episodes just to piss the torrent leechers about.

I doubt it.. what would it achieve? We're still getting great entertainment whether it's real or not. I doubt they'd waste their time tbh.

how do these files work? Do I just burn all 99/100 files on to a DVD-R to watch them on a DVD player? I'm not exactly fully computer literate, I just tend to stick to avi files when I download torrents.

erm..I'm not sure what files you're talking about as i got the avi's.. if they're .rar files you'll need to find either the one with name.rar as opposed to name01.rar, name02.rar etc etc. If there's no name.rar choose name01.rar and it should unrar the dvd image to your hard drive.

Don't take my workd for it.. it'll either work or it won't.

I've always downloaded 24 as soon as they're aired in US (and Lost, and Prison Break, and Battlestar, and Nip/Tuck etc etc) but I'm gonna wait for it on Sky and try to get my moneys worth from my HD.

I'll just have to avoid this forum cos you lot'll be raving on about it!!

well if the US release date is earlier than the UK, why not just get the US HD rips?

If you've already downloaded it as whatever files you were on about, explain what the type of files are and maybe we can help.

I haven't downloaded it yet cos I didn't know whether or not the files would work.

Think I'll just wait for the avi files to come on to a torrent site, thanks for your help though.

well that;'s what I was saying.. extract fear-24s6.r00 with winrar and it'll give you the avi's (or possibly a dvd image/folder)

So I only need to extract .r00 after they've downloaded?

yeah.. you usually extract either the lowest number, or the one with a .rar extention. The rest follow automatically

Cos I haven't got my PC wired into my telly, only the Sky HD box.

I use Winrar and you can double click any of the spanned files and it'll do it automatically.
