1st Toon Game

its not the away fans im talking about, its the home fans, most are so quiet now. we have been laughed by most away fans this season because our 'legendary atmosphere' is non exsistent.

The corner of the Gallowgate is the only place that has consistent noise. Some fans want to make Level 7 in the Sir John Hall stand a place for the singers.

when this was mentioned a few years back about another club, i laughed , now after looks i have got of some people when standing shouting and singing at some games i feel there is a case for this.

the problem has come from our club shifting all the decicated fans who have sat in the same seats for years, all the mad lads from the top of the milburn and so on who used to make loads of noise. something needs to be done about it. we never got out sung at games by away fans, they moe noise they made we would make more. now they out sing us the whole game. spoke to some Valerenga lads in town and they were very dissapointed with the atmosphere

When the seats came there was no logical working class area.

My guess would be left from your points about the noise.

I was just about to mention all the seating changes causing lack of atmos. There aint as much sustained singing which is bad enough but the lopsided design "leaks" a lot of noise aswell. It doesn't reverberate around as much.
Also with the seating changes, a lot of the rowdy singers are sitting amongst Granny Smith and her 10 yr old grandson.
Kinda stops you from shouting your head off as much.

when the sir john hall stand was first finished and we got shipped in there from the gallowgate it was mint, especially the lads in the milburn. they were the ones gettin every1 singing etc. the back of the john hall stand, behind my seat, was always quite vocal aswell from what i remember.

I'm off to the match with my Dad 2nite! In the Good Old Gallowgate as per!! The atmosphere was flat as a fart @ the Smoggie Game so hopefully you'll be Joining in with the Blaydon Races tonight Mr Deakin!?

The lads need all the help they can cos this is our last opportunity this season to get some Silverware and how fuckin class would it be considering Man U are gonna win Fuck all too! Come On!

Portsmouth fans were class when they came to White Hart Lane as well. Sang all game but there was a massive police presence near and around the ground with riot gear and everything. Haven't seen anything like it for years

I think you'll find we were pretty loud at SJP as well. We might have lost 4-0 but we still sang all game right to the very end. Different story at home though, same with every club I think.

this games like watching paint dry, newcastle are a discrase, pro footballers and they cant put 5 passes together ive seen sunday league teams play better as a team than this lol
i think we are the biggest fluke team ever, we play shite all match get run over by every team then nick the victory, we dont deserve fuck all playing like we do lol

watching this match is like watching a bunch of school kids playing in a park, we have too many crap players who just get the ball and run into a bunch of defenders with their heads up their own arses
