settle down barry chuckle! Yes smoking harms you and ppl around you blah blah blah but i just don't think it should be banned in EVERY pub/club, imo there should be smoking and non smoking pubs.

do you really think a ban will stop ppl smoking....? Do the road signs that say 30,40,50 etc stop ppl going over the speed limit.....do they fuck! You drive don't you?? Do you stick to the speed limit all the time???

What would be the point of a non-smoking pub where there are smoking pubs? None to be fair, who is going to open a non-smoking pub around here when smoking in public is not banned? That would be commercial suicide. It would have to be ALL pubs, not many owners would choose to do this optionally IMO.

Better ventination/extraction would do in many situations.....

I am not trying to say even slightly that the law should stop smoking outright. I am just in favour of the public ban. If you want to smoke at home/outside when it can only really harm you then thats not going to be an issue with the anti-smoking organisations/supporters.
