Why are you called what you are?

peeps used to call me verine beacuse they rekoned i looked like wolverine off the xmen.
otherwise very1 calls me purvy. for the reason my second name is purvis!

PAY MORE ATTENTION

after a rather heated arguement at work once about god, religon and all that guff, i proclaimed something along the lines of "it's all bollocks, the way i look at it, as a man of science..." needless to say, the room erupted into laughter with "you? a man of science?" Hence and then forth i was named The Man of Science.

it just came out - much to my ridicule. and it stuck.

i always thought school nick names consisted of "stick a 'Y' on the end" or sometimes "chop yer second name in half and stick a 'Y' on the end" - both combinations work.

well i got my name wen i started uni had to think of an e-mail address and my bezzie mate said i should put it as sexyminx as im sexy and a naughty minx!! then ive just used it since then:angel3:

I'm a big fan of explotation films, especially the films of the late 70's and early 80's (such as Zombie 2, Nightmares in a Damaged Brain, I spit on your Grave, The Anthropophagous Beast etc etc). Cannibal Ferox is one of the most infamous of the 'video nasties' of the early 80's (still cut by over 5 minutes here, even though Mary Whitehouse is no longer with us). Thought I would nick it!
