You can't please everyone. You've got to try and mix biggish names without them being too commercial or too pricey with it being a small night. with up and coming DJ's. Of course you're gonna get the connoisseurs who moan that the DJ's arnt what they want to see.

You'll never get everyone happy, but trying to make most of them happy is what you need.

The names that have played havent really interested me or other things like Richie Hawtin or Dave Clarke have been playing so i havent went. People have their reasons i just think you should accept the fact that people have other interests than trance and stop having digs because the night isnt getting the numbers it needs!

I totally respect that folk have other commitments apart from coming to Junior:G? it would be totally fukin rediculous to think that this night is a paramount event in Newcastle as it's just not.

The point I was trying to make which youv'e totally took down a different route now? is that the majority of people on here are saying they'd love to see a certain DJ on, granted there are a few who are there month in, month out but I know most of them that have posted & they have never been in the first place or very very rarley come? yet AGAIN not saying that there not entitled to an opinion or suggestion for a line-up? merely a pointless suggestion but yet AGAIN I stated each to their own & im nobody to tell them they cant comment - thats just MY OWN opinion which im also entitled to?

Im hardly bullying anyone to come to the night or saying if they should be loyal & never attend another night on the same date? so I dont quite get you? as it would yet again be rediculous of me to think otherwise?

Just to set the record straight if Junior:G relied on a message board to fill the Ballrooms we'd be in dire straights! the night is posted up here for ex-promise goers & the likes to check out if they wish, which the night knows fine well only bring a few clubbers from this forum. Hence which is why it's promoted round newcastle, Whitley bay, cullercoats, Tynemouth, sunderland, Wallsend & Gateshead Metro Centre. So I dont think me ranting & raving or in your words having digs at people for not coming are really gunna make a massive difference to the nights numbers itself? which is why I would never do it?
Numbers couldn't be better? fair play were not selling out 450 capacity every month but certainly not a kick in the arse off it.

I saw a flyer once stuck on the inside of a toilet cubicle in the orange call centre in tynemouth once

when i worked there i used to litter the bogs/canteen with flyers for Habit until one of the managers saw my name on it and ended my guerilla marketing campaign

The best thing I ever saw in there on that big advert board was some pikey selling copied dvds he had downloaded for £3.50

a manager on our wing used to openly sell them, his customer base ranged from CSR's to HOC's

it's like groundhog day once again on this board.

Deaks was having the same arguements with the same internet clubbers 3 or 4 years ago. "we want X on" then they never turn up.

Last time corvin played when it was still Promise - dead. and he said as much.

People get spoilt. for example, if they wanna see 1 particular DJ on the line up, they'll turn out for their set ONLY - then leave. it happens all the time. fickle clubbers - such seems to be the way up here.

Youv'e sorta hit the nail on the head there tbh mate. Not that the nights struggling if I was truthfull it's just like my above comments, folk that are requesting DJ's have never been to see any of the DJ's stated below yet piss all over some of the suggestions?
