    yeah they are but stu knows i love them and he always surprises me with a bunch every now and again, like if i havent seen him for a few weeks he'll send me some which i think is nice :)

    Yup. Sometimes it is just a nice way of showing someone you care when you can't be with them.

    I don't think I'd be too impressed if I got flowers for something like my birthday off a boyfriend or something when it's a bit too obvious, but I think I'd like it if they were a surprise, maybe for being down in the dumps or being unwell (ie when my eyes are mending HINT HINT :lol: ) or from someone who you weren't expecting them off like a new love interest or something :)

    I sent flowers to my gf on her birthday. She lives in London, and I wasn't giving her her present until I saw her the following weekend, so I wanted her to have something on the day. Plus we had only been seeing each other for about three weeks, so she was pretty surprised and chuffed!

    If you thin Interflora's expensive, take a look at www.asda.com - they might be more reasonable, they won an award for their flowers or something.

    Why do all the roses have to be red? I want to send some yellow ones, but they only seem to have red ones this close to Valentine's. Bugger.
