back to the clubbing thing.. I ll stop when and if I do one of the following:
    a) get bored of music, which I doubt
    b) have kids or something scary like that:)
    c) move to somewhere where there arent any clubs, which is a possibility…

apart from that I don’t see any other reason to stop going, I love it:)

i think alot of the views expressed in this thread may be the reason why clubland appears to be in a slump?

not that it is wrong, variety is the spice of life an all.. i just feel that amongst my generation of clubbers there seems to be a great apathy towards clubbing as a whole?

clubbing definately seems to of lost its 'buzz' factor to me in terms of trance, hh. god knows how long its been since i came to promise, think it was marco v night... anyone else find they are just too busy to go clubbing all weekend now anyway?

i really did enjoy those mad 3 day weekenders, but i'm certain they are a thing of the past. there is much much more to life than clubbing!

I dunno about myself at the mo.. recently i've had little interest in going out, partly due to the fact that I've had debts to clear over the last two months (xmas and new year are nowt but money pits! :D).. but even then, all i've wanted to do is stay in and have an easy night.. guess I've been working a bit too hard.

Variety is the spice of laife as they say, and varying your clubbing locations keeps it interesting.. i did this during one year and found i was spending almost all my money to travel all over the place for clubbing, but it was well worth it to meet new people and enjoy new club experiences :)

Guess I'm taking a break from it for now.. I'll be back out there again at some point but it wont be for a while

I hope I never really want to stop going out clubbing until i'm at least 40 or something.

I think it is the fact that people are just clubbed out, meaning that you have been out too much over the past year or whatever and thus just got bored of it. You should just take a break from it for a while.
When I haven't been out for 2 or 3 week's I enjoy it a lot more than when I have been out for the last 3 or 4 week's in a row.

Doggie, just because you have kid's should not really mean that you have to give up clubbing. I have a one and a half year old son and there is no reason why I shouldn't go and have a great night clubbing.

rachel by the way you have met Iany-e once before but you were under the influence ever soo slighty, so prob's can't remember meeting him. It was the last classic night or something I think.

I know what you mean if you go out week in week out like i did last summer i got bored but than when i go out now i do enjoy it more foundation can get boring when you are there every week need something new. I go out about once or twice a month now and enjoy it a lot more.

For me it is all about the drugs, now Ive cut down Ive more or less lost my love for clubbing. Still enjoy the music and I will go out but it just isnt the same for me.

In the past I could go out and would have a good night even if I didnt like the DJ or music being played but nowadays I will have to be entertained and kept interested by a DJ to really enjoy myself. Something that the DJs Ive seen recently havent been able to do so I am going to start and broaden my horizons a bit I think.

I think I'll be clubbing for at least another 10 years but no doubt ill be into different styles of music and clubs by then as my preferences are already starting to change and Im only still relatively young.
