Nope i'm not suggesting that as such!!

But i think that we should consentrate on sorting our own country out b4 taking on asylum seekers which is not a cheap task!!!

Each case has to be looked @ individually & takes a minimin of 9 months!! This all costs money!!

This country is short £20billion this year!!!

But this year we have got a war & there is always a little boom after an international ruck

so you're suggesting we take no asylum seekers because we can't afford to? I appreciate the point you're making, but don't you think that as one of the worlds richest nations we owe a duty to provide sanctuary to those who need it?

When I see someone in trouble I try to help out, if I didn't it would go against my morals and conscience.

for example if I see a group of charvas having a go at a tramp/goth/girl and that person is asking for help a lot of people would tell her to "fuck off"... I'd do everything with in my power to help... You personally may turn a blind eye, but it goes against my nature to do so.

I suggest you read a lot more into asylum cases before making the stereotypical remarks your proned to spurting. Everyone is entitled to their pown opinion and if u truely believe we should give them the middle finger thats your choice.... But I strongly disagree.

That is not more to the point.

In the west we're meant to be a christian society. A part of being christian is helping others. It's even one of your commandments. That means if someone comes and asks you for help, it is your duty and responsibility to help them if you can. Same applies to the country as well as individuals.

It's ironic that our christian culture has helped to create this problem, but a great deal of people in this country think that we shouldn't help people who are living in fear of thier lives.

If you think that the UK can't afford to provide shelter for 40,000, or even 100,000 asylum seekers, think again.
