Thats why I walked out. Thats the last thing I need right now

Thankfully my mates have just moved in two streets away from my mums gaff, so I went down there and spent the evening having lots of cuddles with their four month old baby

Prob not my place to say but You need to tell your dad to get a grip. i 've never lived with my Dad and have always wanted the opportunity to spend more time together but he worked away etc. have always felt like he doesn't know me or I know him that well. This last year has been the first time I've ever felt like we're really close and opened up a lot to each other. We get on a treat and always have had a laugh whenever we spent time together, but life is too short. Not to be a drama queen and make this a sad thread but he died suddenly in March, massive shock and I'm totally gutted that I'll never have him close to me again. Its really made me look at other people and my own life!

There is no point in holding a grudge in life it doesn't get you any where, it takes two to make any kind of relationship work so you need to start opening up to him to, talk at him even if he doesn't respond he'll have to listen, then maybe one day you'll start talking etc. It might never be perfect but at least you'll have something :)
