:D That's because I am a nice lad. I have not called anybody a wanker. Page 1 of the 'Cyber Wankers' post, I think if you read my first two entries and what Frankie has said above, then I think you'll understand.

    :)

I think that ramma has made a point.

Hes right cybers do take this piss out beer boys a bit, but listen at the end of the day every single one of us there for the same thing, some are a little more hardcore and dedicated than others but hey who actually gives a fuck!

We all love the music the atmosphere and everyone is as friendly as fuck, the many a time ive been there ive never seen a fight, go anywhere else and i will at least one fight gaurented!

True there is one or two charvas out there that match the stereotype of "beers boys" but put your self in there shoes! your out on the drink with some of ur mates and u turn round to see someone with bright red spikey hair and a glow in the dark teeshirt waving there arms around, your going to find it funny!!! arent ya!! and at the end of the day as much as i love getting dressed up and doning the old trandformers tee shirt and lobing the old red hair stuffon, we still can look a bit daft!!!!!

no digs at anyone there Disco Stu love you all!!

ok I get your point ramma, you're (too) cleverly accusing some ppl on this board of narrow-mindedness and elitism by them slagging of the prescence of "beer-boys" coming into "their" club.

I understand what you're saying and grudgingly have to agree with you, but the very first thread u put up was titled "cyber wankers" so I'm afraid your point was too subtle for me and others to pick up on initially and only became apparent as the debate ensued!

I thought u were having a genuine pop at arrogant cybers in a pretty aggresie manner so I dont think you should be too surprised at the reaction you got.

However, I do have to agree that you have a valid point and well made, even though you did deliberately provoke the type of reaction you were accusing "us" of anyway in order to make your point.

interested to hear what you make of CyberDog and Dexta - self confessed cyber beer-boys! :p

I see your point Ramma but I don't need you to start preaching to me about tolerance thanks. Who made you this week’s wise man?

I understood tolerance from about the age of 12, how about you learn sensitivity and consideration?

Have to agree with you on that one. It's pretty much impossible to be truly original, different from the majority yes, but not original.

    I wear what I want coz I enjoy it!!:D

When I choose what i wear, I try and make it different to what everyone else does, hence the jeans and that.

Just because it has a cyberdog logo on, doesn't mean that all people dressed in cyberdog clobber are the same!

Anyway, image is nothing, thirst is everything, bring on the redbul n vodka!!:D

What I meant was that cyber in itself is not original, though different people wear it differently of course, in the same way that 'shirt and Rockport' boys don't all look identical.

Reading through all the threads i can see the points that both Ramma and Trancy DJ were making. In fact they are fairly decent points as well.

The reason most people reacted badly to it was not because they disagreed with the points being made, but because they came on to the board and started off by calling all the Promise regulars "arseholes" or "cyber wankers". This only ended up disguising the points they were trying to make still further.

Generally on this board if we want to make a point we write our argument out wothout trying to insult anyone. If its pointless arguments or insults that you prefer try typing www.gurn.net cos they love that type of thing on there.
