From what I've seen of Newcastle I think Mark is right about it being the best. I do think that a laser would be a good idea, maybe once every couple of weeks or once a month?

Yes, yes they are a bit cheesy but when operated well they look the bollax!

I think the lighting could be spruced up a bit - thats just me though... I think a laser althought cheesey would be a great investment, bring it back!

Code is a very similar venue to foundation in my eyes and I have a wikkid night everytime I go there, as I do everytime I go to promise... I don't think the venue persay is the problem.... I think what people may find boring is the lighting it can get very dark at times....

One club that I think have wikkid lighting is slinky.... Another would be gk/amnesia in ibiza... also somz south in code... I know in promise you guys choose to have it really dark (which I don't mind so much) its just nothing ever really happens with the lighting to add to the atmosphere... it sounds like this wasn't the case on friday... unfortunatly I was too busy handing out name tags and yapping to notice!!! argh!!!!

Thats just my thoughts... some may agree some may disagree - but I think summit could be done with lighting...

Also I think the little things really help.... take the new chill out area, I think that looks swell... anyways I'm starting to babble so I'll shut up :D

foundation can become a bit boring me finks....it is much better than anywhere in newcastle and is pretty class, but if promise was in a less 'square' club with more to explore it would be better, the new room may add a lot!!!

we all wore our meet up tags to crasher on sat and there was loads of people who said they'd heard good things of promise. So word does get around!!!

    hehehe

twas well funny. i had peeps asking me if i worked 4 promise or crasher! :p

i did have peeps saying they heard gud things tho. they even knew matt hardwick was rezzie.

as 4 the lights. it can b a bit 2 dark and i fink a lazer would b well gud, innit!

when the new room comes it should b well gud cos like peeps have said, esp on late finishes, u can become a lil bored but thats just cos of the shape and theres nowhere 2 go on missions like crasher.

I know this was posted a while ago but ive only just come across it.
Smart E you asked how Promise compared to crasher at the Adephi. Promise whips it's ass!!! Adelphi is the worst venue crasher has been!(apart from dodgey one off's at the Roxy, many moons ago) Ive been going to crasher for the full 8 years (hence the name crashjim) If i was to compare, i would compare Promise to Crasher when it was at the Arches. The atmosphere and the people back then were second to none!! Much like Promise is now! As my old age is kicking now i dont go to crasher every week as i used to, but why bother when Promise is just up the road. My favourite club at the moment, keep it up!!!
