i sometimes wonder why djs put their main name to their cheesy chart hits.... i suppose u will get bookings off the back of it of course but id just rather not be known as the bloke who made that put your hands up for detroit abomination!!

haha aye I gues your right about that one..

some chart hits just start off as good club tunes and become massive hits eventually as they get popular..

and no Im not including "detroit" in that category!! :)

    you are right like

some great tunes become unbearable due to over saturation but some cheesy tunes slip through the net under a respected djs/producers guise.... i respect masters at work, but seriously, wtf was that broom song all about??

but every producer needs a payday so fair play to them

on the subject of over saturation, galaxy comes out top with flying colours, particularly their paul kershaw re-edits

Prydz is one of the only one's who has managed to remain somewhat credible after dropping a chart smash. A lot of that's down to his Pryda/Mouseville releases though and sets like his one from the Dirty Disco doing the rounds on the net.

If you are talking about Work then wise up! Just because some electro house divs decide to overwork (boom boom) the acapella doesnt make it a bad track...have you heard the original?

    proper Promise 2000-2002 backroom classic!

Hang on, so I've been waging a futile campaign to get the prog on at Shindig and you're telling me that Roger Sanchez/Fedde Le Grand (I'm not sure which you mean) are the answers to all my prog problems and that one of them actually plays techy prog?

Or then again the proggy ish tech stuff might not be quite the same as the techy prog stuff. It doesn't sound as good.

I think I'll just hold on for Hernan and Sasha and I'll pop along when Infusion play. ;)

Isn't Aldrin from Zouk meant to be a bit of progger?

I've never seen him though, so this post is in the best traditions of the internet clubber :king:

haha, because scooby said I'd like him on here the other month? Good spot though, I hadn't realised there. Might have to head along.

I doubt that tropical highlight would get booked, good productions but he hasn't even really made much of a name for himself yet has he? You heard any sets by him? Can't even find him on discogs!

    Infusion/Warren/Dekay/Chable/Pole Folder though... :D

Stand about as much chance as "tropical highlight" mind. ;)
