    There's one opened in Glasgow as well. Just round the corner from the arches.

    Italian...

    Puccini's, just around the corner from Pizza Hut, on Puddling Chare, is an excellent Italian restaurant.

    Cheap room or meal?? Cos the rooms already booked :D

    Im after somewhere fancy, not just a place where pissed people go for some food when theyre out drinking. So no cheap Italians etc.

    Mal Maison restaurant is the only one Ive come across so far thats along the lines of what I want :D At least then I dont have far to go when Ive drank too much wine :lol:

    Re: Restaurants

    Cafe21 in ponteland and on the quayside is nice - I usually go there with the folks, or with my nearest and dearest.

    Starters are about 6 quid, mains are about 15 quid, desert 5 quid, a bottle of wine starts at about 13 quid.... so figure on 60 quid for a good meal.

    I took my folks there the night after promise last month :)lol: ) and the bill was 150 quid for 5 people after tips... not too bad.

    Easyjet = Pikey airways.

    Also, remember its 45 minutes on a train from stansted to liverpool street station, which is 13 quid ONE WAY - so add 26 quid to that price, and the time delay makes taking the train much faster.
