Also, who's moaning? Surely we all just want to find out what's going on and, to do that, we have to ask questions and query stuff. That's not moaning tho.

I think it an excellent and uncomplicated idea, so don't knock it or Mark might change his mind.

I get the feeling Mark has been misunderstood here!!!

I think Mark meant it would prevent the trouble makers, who aren't regulars and are only looking to get pissed (therefore being called beer monsters) and have a fight, from coming as they will be put off by the price of the drinks!!!

Everyone comments that on of the best things about Promise is the atmosphere, I'm sure they are just trying hard to make sure it stays that way and doesn't get spoiled by twats.

Erm..... back to the flyers....

I think they are defo a step in the right direction for promise. Not wanting to upset anyone, but over the past 3-5 months the flyers have been rather poor. I was well impressed when I saw the new ones.

i think the new flyers look well good, but look a bit like the crasher summer sound system flyers? these r much better tho!!

I still think it would be a good idea to get all the board members and regulars who we all know who dont have the internet on the flyers for the first one.

The members thing sounds wicked, but when will u be starting? As im back in leeds and soon to be off in Oz Ill only be back to promise 2 or 3 times before i go, having been a weekly regular since u opened and untill last july i feel i still deserve to share in the merriment of cheap vodka Or am i wrong
