I like reading people's opinions of mixes, I think it's quite interesting how one person's perception of how a mix should start, end and finish can differ totally from another's.

If I listen to a mix, I'll always comment honestly, and when I put a mix up I'd like to think all those people would comment on mine... Not always the case but it's like basic etiquette of all mixes forums really.

    Good mix this like Tyson!

Has a nice sound throughout which is good, as having a distinct style is important!

The only thing that lets it down is the structure and build. It starts off nice and understated but suddenly gets a burst of life around the 4th track mark (or thereabouts - 19 min mark), which sounds out of place. A bit more build up to it would have been sweet. Things stay quite upbeat from here before it goes a bit chilled around the 33 min mark again. What im trying to get at is that it doesnt flow fluidly throughout, basically. Like what Stephen says.

The set imo goes on like this throughout. A bit of re-jigging with the track order and it would be faultless.

All this seems negative but dont take it the wrong way. Your mixing is tight and smooth, you have a nice style which is distinguishable. I just dont see the point in saying its good or its crap when someone asks for honest feedback! :)

    Quality stuff.

Areet Dan. Totally agree with it needing to build a bit more. Was chopping and changing it so much i just had to stick with something. Another couple of tracks up until that point would have definately helped. Could have peaked for a bit longer aswell before it wound down, but found the mix was getting too long (around 1hr 40ish)

Appreciate your thoughts though mate, cheers for taking the time. That was probably the most constructive comment ive ever had :) :cool2:

I look forward to your thoughts on the may mix  :)
