    the front message on gner telesales says 'we are proud to be speaking to you from newcastle upon tyne' or something similar...

    national rail enquiries are a joke... never take anything they say as fact because often in isnt, i deal with their mess on a daily basis (roll on uni in sept). even when they were in scotland they were shite but now they are an utter farce :down:

    bollocks.

    british call centers are notoriously harsh with staff. 3 sick days/lates at my place and your out. and we are more lenient than most places like orange, zurich etc.

    i had almost a week off not so long back and got a doctors note, the doctor told me to be very wary because she had seen a few people lose there jobs over legitimate sick days, which to be fair, needing to be off sick can happen to anyone at anytime.

    im on probation due to my manned time being 1% under for a couple of weeks. im not too bothered cos im either leaving or cutting my hours when i go back to uni in september but for some people its a very tight line... slip up a couple of times and your out.
