Jess when i go abroad i smell so bad i repell everything except mossy's which is the aim. i then end up in so much pain cos of the reaction to the bites i have & i have massive scars off the blisters i have had.

doesn't stop me travelling abroad tho lol

this happened to my ex goil in glencoe one august. we woke up to find the tent black with them on the outside. we had no choice but to try to take the tent down as quick as we could and get back in the car and fuck off ASAP.
we put jumpers on and hats but by the time we were packed up we were a mass of bites. they like swarm allover you. fucking horrendous. she was so badly bitten her face swelled up and her eyes closed and she couldn't see. I only had one eye working. I drove off as fast as I could but the car was full of them. we got to a doctors who gave her some stuff (don't know what) but the swelling went down and three days later we were mostly ok.
really put me off camping like. scottish midges...........
