was 12 months before i even got a visit  just ignored the letters threatening me with "were gonna get ya"

i don't watch tv at all tbh, don't have the time
paid for a licence as the G/F moved in with me and wanted to watch TV
though i started watching it after i bought a licence, and its shit

i think the fact that "they" try and force you into paying for the BBC is a complete farce and very dubious IMHO

FFS there was about 3/4 months worth of letters in the post box before i even got my apartment keys

IIRC if the tv set has no ariel and when "tested" can pick up no traces of any TV channel without an areil plugged in, you do not need a licence at all

you know how sometimes you can get a bit of a picture even if the Ariel is out? then that's breaking the law, if you make sure the set is detuned and no Ariel is present you can use it for dvds and ps2 etc etc legally, although most soft cocks drop there arses and just buy one anyway.
always read the small print
