Gary, I could have saved you some grief on the newcastle uni front. They've got a weekly friday night student night in there, that they've no plans on changing, so it's a dead end chasing fridays. They've also been booked up on saturdays for this term since november.

The next weekend dates they've got free for downstairs is in may, unless you're trying to persuade them to open in the easter holidays (do yourself a favour and don't waste your time trying to go down that route, it'd be a brick wall).
