Update: The Cosmic Ballrooms is currnetly undergoing referbishment & it loooks as though the booth may be getting changed from being situated in the middle of the dance floor (not 100%) look forward to see what they have done come next month, just in time for the carnage! :bonkers:

Hope it all gets done in time, I love the layout as it is to be honest

as long as "clubbers" corner aint touched well they could clean the floor but need that area left as it is

the layouts good like, just them stairs (both the metal ones and the ones from the downstairs bar to upstairs) are a bloody nightmare.

never missed 1 yet and am not gonna start bad habits for this 1! got 2 say, it doesnt seem lyk nearly a year since askew was on! madness!

Likewise with above comments the stairs tend to get pretty crammed just at the most inconvenient times (when in desperate need of the toilet LOL) bit of a nightmare but the venue has a wkd underground intimate atmosphere! Lights/effects/lasers wouldn't go a miss either I suppose?

yeah i agree the atmosphere in the ballroom is class because its such an intimate venue, every time ive been everyone within a five metre radius says hello to you, definatley how it should be.....but yeah a few more lights and a laser would make all the differance like, theres only what, two lights and a smoke machine at the minute isnt there !

Your right with the lights (I think) there pretty poor tbh, a few lasers etc.. would definately go down a treat in there! it was the same with Promise aswel for years, unbeliveable night yet didn't really have many Lighting efx.

i remember promise having a lethal light set up, foundation might have got em sorted before my first time like (which was dave clarke at shindig) god that was years ago !

Promises lights/efx/visuals etc.. were always much to be disired. Not sure if Disco Noir put on extra lasers when they had Dave Clarke but Promises never used to be that good?

Not that it made much of a difference to be honest? as Promise was wkd in itself! it's just when you visit the Arches, Air, Nation, Crasher etc... the main room just looks so much better whens the dance floor is dripping with lasers, strobes & exf.

dnt get me wrong, promise was absolutely class, but theres something else bout junior that does it for me lyk! cant put me finger on it exactly but there you go.
