John's mixing is very tight on Vinyl 2, hes had just a lot of pratice and has some good ability. However, It is easier to mix with decent CD decks like 800's & 1000's, theres no doubt about it. I also agree with luke that vinyl decks are norm mora accurate. I use a couple of CDJ 800's and a couple of 1210 mk 3's and IMO CDJ's are easrier 2 corrtect a mix with, simple because the platter does not rotate which aids in having mor control when bringing a track back in sync. There is still skill invloved, but i will rate a dj more who can play all night on vinyl rarther then CDJ's simply due to my own experience. Not calling people who use them , i love them and there are a very good tool, most of my sets used to be CDR's when i played trance.
