Seeing as Trance is on its arse, Promise has no option but to follow the other clubs inc. Crasher and book more Techno DJ's.

If it aint broke don't fix it!!!!! :p

Crasher tried to follow fashions and booked prog dj's - almost killed the club...

Promise have finally found a style that works for the club (prog/trance/hard trance/techno) the numbers are finally climbig up.... and you all scream for a music change?

    Why?!?!?

In my eyes promise is better than its ever been and is continueing to get better.... why change this?

Apparently Taucher played quite a prog set. Can't be bothered to go back through the listings to check, but I know people have complained about the more prog nights, so I'm assuming there have been some!

Im not saying change the music policy. Im saying one week per month have a prog night. That means 3/4 of the time it stays how it is. I just think one different night per month would keep things interesting. The vast majority of trance lovers dont go to all 4 each month anyway. Theres always one quieter one.

if the music policy varies from week to week then its just copying sugarshack which IMO is Promises main rival in the north east.

It's working at the moment with the policy it has...

...every week isnt gunna be full, as if there are four quality line ups each month most people arnt gunna be able to afford all of em so unfortunately some of them are gunna have to suffer with low attendance...like in the case of Rob Tissera

every so often i think a prog nite is fine but do they really pull in the numbers enough to warrant startin a once monthly nite?

sounds like a wicked idea mr orbit. i love prog, some of the best nites ive had av bin nick warren, dave seaman, john creamer etc. i know most people hate it, but the club does need diversity, becos not every1 likes the same music. ill admit my heart sank when i saw the name rob tissera, becos id hate to see the club go down a hard route.
but whatever gets the punters in i spose

well if were having a prog and a techno nite every month then i spose we'd better have a hard nite aswel.....
oh hold on, that would only leave one night of the month for trance.., which is what the majority of us come to hear
