i did not find out that promise was closeing from this message board, i heard via word of mouth.

so many people saying there gutted, plenty who have not even been in a long while maybe??!!??


nobody has asked the question that everybody wants to know

what is the main reason for shutting up the shop.

well i just wanna repeat what's been said really. A massive thanks to all those who made Promise possible. I had an amazing 3 years - just wish i'd found it sooner!
Saw some amazing sets (especially from Mr Hardwick) and met some great people there. Only have happy memories of the place.
Hope it all goes off with a bang on Sat - sadly i won't be there as i have to be in manchester

I'm sorry i missed this.. you don't know what you've got until it's gone, and while i might not have been much in recent times due to a change in circumstances I'm gutted to see a night which meant a great deal to everyone associated with it come to an end.

It's been a blinder, but all good things... thanks Mark for making Friday nights become something special - I'll miss them.

Whatever you're doing, farewell, take care and good luck for the future.

It was great. Well done to all involved. Cheers to Basic Instinct for spilling red wine all over my new clothes.
