Re: Re: It's all over! rob have you booked hotels in phuket yet? - if you haven't and are doing so just as you get there i would reccomend staying just outside of phuket itself somewhere like karon you are only a 5 min tuk-tuk ride away from phuket nightlife and should cost you no more than 200 baht to travel in, and will be much more peaceful during the day. ps watch out for the riptides in phuket, a young american girl drowned whilst i was there and one of my mates wasn't far off before he was rescued. other than that have fun, and make sure you go for an elephant ride in the national park in phuket.
we were there for 3 weeks. in Rio for the carnaval, even saw a football match at the maracana stadium then to salvador, then sao luis, then manaus last but not least we went to the iguassu falls
i saw Romario ( little brazilian, played in world cup in the 90's) come off the bench in the maracana stadium for vasco da gama it was awesome i wish i was still there :strop:
iguassu is better we stayed in the wicked hostel that has a pool & a lake. Got the best food for an extra £2.50 each per day. The brazilian side gives the best panoramic views where as the argie bargie side givs you a close up look
I rarely go out clubbing or in fact drink. I save very hard to go away, why shouldn't I tell people about it??
