A couple of years ago they were my complete favourite band in the world ever... Alex Lifeson was my hero. Still love most of their stuff now, and there's a lot of it. Some of it's surprisingly easy to play as well. These days if I get my guitar out I mostly just play around making up riffs etc, nothing serious but it's a quality way to waste time. I really should play more just to get my ability up, but I go through phases where I just can't be bothered.
Me and Katie used to play recorder in first school. Whenever it was anybodies birthday we had to stand up and play birthday song. I couldn't read the music n once got nacked for having it written on
Re: Re: instruments i cant help but detect tones of sarcasm. i know the bass isnt hard to learn but its hard to master
Might have to listen to 2112 later. I love their first 3 albums, and Hemispheres and Vapor Trails but not quite so keen on the stuff in the middle. On the subject of stratocasters.. ugly, ugly style of guitar IMO.
they're total differant guitars though lol, PRS's are only good if you spend a few grand and buy the 513 apart from that i don't rate them, the tone on the fender is totally unique.
Gilmour David Gilmour was voted greatest ever Fender Stratocaster player of all time! he used a Fender Telecaster before he joined the Floyd tho!
