Yes her death was due to too much water as opposed to a direct result of drugs, but ecstasy is an anti diuretic, so not a great deal of water is excreted by your kidneys (hence when ur on pills and you go to the toilet, and if you can manage to find your shrivelled knob, probably cant squeeze much out), meaning there is a great deal of water retained in your body and if you continue to drink, there will be far too much water in your blood, which will lead to swelling and in the case of Leah Betts; death.

Obviously, this could happen when not high but it's far far less likely that you would drink that much without going to the toilet as your kidney functions would not be impaired.

Plus, you sweat while exercising, meaning you need to take in more water throughout the day. So 6 pints of water for a person who exercises regularly is not dangerous.
