    Sygate has been taken over by Symantec, but it doesn't have all the usual crap that comes with a Norton product. Sygate 5.6 is still the same old reliable firewall.

    Have you switched Windows fire wall off.
    This is probubly conflicting with Sygate.:D

    Or how about you dont use XP as all modern viruses are programmed to attack newer versions of operating systems such as XP & vista. Linux is the cats sack when it comes to operating systems & is very secure.

    Linux is great for nerds and people who KNOW about computers - the rest of the 99.999% of the world need to use something they know and is absolutley everywhere

    Linux is quite easy to get used to, theres loads of new windows or Mac shells for it to download for it witch makes everything feel & look very similar to your prefered operating system.

    I think you missed what I added in the last update:
    Not true any more at all Mr Manof. Most of my family now happily use Linux, and they don't even notice the difference... Well, except they're not calling me up every couple of weeks asking me why such and such is fucking up/missing/going slow/popping up errors/showing that lovely blue screen... The general population has never been ready for Windows.

    I realise I know squat all about this cos I always thought I was safe with a Mac
