yeah but thats your opinion, as you said yourself you hate camping!

imagine it the other way though - mad clubbers sunbathing in golden sunshine - few barbeques on the go here and there brill music everyone chilled out, mad laughs, then tripping the light fantastic as everyone dances the night away to amazing d'js :D

    wooooooooooooooooh i cant wait:love:

Good idea IMO. If you don't wanna camp, just go on Saturday. Hopefully they'll be some decent radio coverage

    Sounds like a plan imo....

Glastonbury aint my thing cause the music isnt consistently my taste but ive always wanted to experience the whole camping/festival thing...

fuck all the negative ideas JUST MAKE THE MOST OF IT and plan it properly.. getting a van is the best idea this thread has come up with so far and will be top of my 'to get' list...

After T in the park 2 years running decided to give camping a miss next year.

Will see what line up is like. A hotel on the friday could be an idea

Hardly any hotels in the area mate. Location is pretty remote as far as that goes! Be ok if there are buses on to surrounding towns etc, but chances of getting booked up will be slim and I wouldn't expect it to be cheap either...

Wonder how much the tickets will be then. £100 mark?

I doubt they'd sell Saturday only tickets either, wouldn't run the risk of only having a few thousand for the Friday & sold out (as usual) for the Saturday.

I wouldn't like to leave my tent/valuables unattended! It's pikeyville down there at the best of times!

I'd go to another GG as decided to give it a miss last year (weather in 03 & decided to go abroad instead) but not if it's this 2 day format... :)

Aye would be good if it was 2 days. Took us about that long to get down there this year anyhow!
Not fond of sleeping in tents mind- I don't like roughing it!
Doubt I'll be off to GG or Creamfields nextyear though, as I'm saving up to go to Ayebeefa instead

I've done it after a couple of festivals, to avoid having to drive anywhere immediately afterwards. Just chuck a mattress in the back and Bob's your uncle! Loads of room to change, chill, sleep, somewhere safe to leave everything etc. Makes sense to me! Especially if you take a cool box for beer/food. And if you do want to sleep, take ear plugs and an eye mask.

its like saying people use the chalets at tidy to sleep, blatantly wouldnt happen!!!! because its only 2 days would be easier to do it with no sleep too, bet the sat night will be well messy!!!! :spangled: :p
