    u've tried hard today spence, it's been noted. but u were fighting a losing battle.

    it depends on the condition and illness. i would like to think that, if someone i loved was in pain & agony and were going to die anyway - i'd have the strength to do the right thing and put them out of their misery. and i'd also take the punishment i was given by the 'so call' government. Saying that, in my opinion, there's a big difference between physical and mental illness. How can u tell someone with a severe mental handicap isn't enjoying their life in their own way? just cause they can't communicate with the outside world, doesn't meant they want to die. There's no real way doctors could say for sure "he's having no quality of life" because they simply don't know. With physical problems, there's more of a case. or i should say, more reason.
