To be fair melt the last one was full to the brim of pikeys. It actually seemed really fucking rough. Some people don't mind but it leaves me feeling edgy all night as I look like the trouble making type.

Just let me put two words on the next run of flyers to get the message out.

    You mistake 'cool' with 'good'.

When bottom feeders like you that infiltrated the 'scene' is it any wonder people despaired and moved on in their lives?

i did, obviously. mods enforce the rules. events that pay for banner space get the better push on the board.

    Where's that rule?

If he wanted a sticky then he should have asked first. Otherwise I find it rude.

Christ Melt, why do you get so bloody defensive? I was just joking, given the conversation leading up to that post.

Sticky or not, that's between Lee and the Mods.

So the smaller nights that can't afford to buy a banner get even less coverage? That sounds fair.

Why does Melt need to advertise anyway?

I though Detox was always sold out?

    UNDERGROUND NIGHTS DON'T ADVERTISE.

    DETOX = MAINSTREAM.

       :cyber:

Yep. Especially when other nights who have paid for banner space do not get stickys (as was agreed when payment was made). It's one rule for one and another for the other. Surely you can see how it makes it awkward for me when Jamie and Janine come to me asking why their threads aren't stickys.

The Detox comp thread will go up on Wednesday, that will contain all the details about the night. I'm just conscious of having too many stickys at one time.

Anyway, never mind. Just wanted to explain myself. :)

i'm not arguing out here - but all those other brands have stickies - so i guess you're asking claire to do it via PM

I don't want to argue either. However, the only stickies are the competition threads (which Detox will have soon, tonight if it matters that much). Those brands' actual event threads are not stickies apart from the Crasher one which was arranged in advance.

Like what you did there with the double line spacing.

Though it could've done with one or two more winks perhaps?

to be honest, i'm fed up of the whole pettyness it's causing - the more and more this all goes on, the less, to me, it seems like it's working.
