And niether does having alot of experince thru work!

It takes a combination a education, experience, and general living. U have to take a holistic viewpoint.

exams aren't a true test of intelligence. a friend who is the HR director for a multinational firm told me that they never employ people with a first class degree.
just because people don't go to "red brick unis" and didnt get "4 high grade Alevels" doesnt mean that people arent intelligent.
posting on a clubbing message board does not = a life ;)

we're all happy with who we are, snack, but who do you want to be? you're forever trying to prove how intelligent you are on here and how you do this and that, but you come across as very shallow. :)

True. Im only geekin cos im at work.

I still think that results are some measure of intelligence.
Its true that u need more than just a degree nowadays tho.....thats probly why they dont hire people with firsts becasue they havent had the time to fully develop their cv.
As well as having a decent degree from a decent uni, your expected to have lots of extra curricular stuff 2.
So i guess education isnt the deciding factor in getting a good job

Don't know if these are the proper definitions, but as far as i'm concerned:

Knowledge = knowing lots of things, e.g. dates, facts, numbers etc.

Intelligence = actual brainpower, being able to work things out, use logic etc

I think knowledge comes more from the memory part of the brain, ie where the brain retains all the information it receives. Intelligence on the other hand come from the deductive part of the brain, where solutions are worked out and problems solved.

Don't know if this is correct, just my 'educated' guess.
