No, I said WERD and I meant WERD! Have a werd!

I couldn't give dave pearces left bollock if you've been registered on this board longer than myself or not, that has nothing to do with it or anything for that matter, it hardly makes you down with the kids. No score!

I think you need to read into this matter a bit more to be honest, especially if you are prepared to advise Mark to stick to what he is doing to try and make things work.

Putting on Judge Jules is a good idea, I'm sure we will be seeing alot more of him too. A club needs to be as full as possible at all stages, not just the early.

Mark is a very experienced promotor, I'm sure he knows the best possible strategy for his nights.

Anyway, lets just wait and see how the Dave Pearce night goes.

    Im glad to hear that!

Its often hard to create a balance between keeping the punters happy and maintaining the correct business strategy needed to keep any business afloat!

Dave Pearce is on with Petrae Foy. He's also supposed to be class. Fergie reccomended him as 'one to watch'.
I've never heard Petrae but I am quite looking forward to seeing him, and Dave!!!

I've only had 2 in all the times I have went which ain't bad really! One of those was for a "commercial" radio DJ, the other wasn't! The first time I saw Jules at Promise he was wicked, I have never heard Dave Pearce live before, does anyone know what he plays like when he ain't on the radio?

I've heard him play about 4 or 5 times and he's always created a good atmosphere. He tends to play a combination of trance and the milder end of hard house.

No more so than when Johan Gielen played Divine Inspiration's 'The Way'. It's cheesy as fuck but it went down well with the crowd on the night

    "Promise isnt Gatecrasher"

Marks been brave with this booking but well done to him! (Was that almost a arse lick?)

Promise isn't Gatecrasher. It isn't trying to be "oh so cool & underground". If it was trying to be like this it would soon be in the ground!

A underground club would never work in Newcastle.... well maybe it could if it was World Headquarters or had a 150 capacity!!

Dave night will be a success and no doubt funny as fuck! Blatant cheese has a huge comedy factor!!

Promise has to survive to keep giving us exotic line ups!

ITS A BIG TEKNOFISH THUMBS UP FOR MR ANGRY ON THIS ONE!

Re: Re: Re: "Promise isnt Gatecrasher"

i aint saying it is now coz dave is playing....just saying that the fan base he has,is more likely to be,like the punters that go to ikon...this could go down bad for promise's reputation...or it could go the other way...its a gamble.

I knoew i should have kept my thoughts to myself..

*waits for slating from the Promise Taliban*
