the best and cheapest way would be to join NUSAC at your uni, its certainley not a cheap sport and doing it this way will save you a fortune compared to doing it through someone like the place marc recommended.. no instructor costs, cheap kit, readily availabe free kit etc. plus you'll probs get to learn with some hotties :D

to dive in open water you need to get your basic dive skills test done in a pool, theory test, a few lectures and then your ready to swim with the fishes.. should take you about 7 weeks if you do it once a week..

best advice is to go and see your AU and they'll give you contact details for NUSAC, otherwise, the dive centre on the coast road roundabout up from the cornerhouse will have everything you need to know! :)

I wanted to be a professional athlete but that isn't going to happen now.

I hope to finish with at least a Masters degree (maybe Phd) and use it in research into genetics and designer drugs

Neither would be of any use to me so no

I meant using pharmacogenomics to produce drugs specific to a persons genetic makeup

Your argument is pretty much flawed in that I wasn't ever going out with her, but then you'd know all about that ;)

I dont think it is banter really, what you's usually do is banter...but you lot finding out this little 'special inside information' you find hilarious to talk about on the board is just shit.

    Each to their own.
