it completely depends which one is the cheapest

I went with sheilaswheels - £400 cheaper than the cheapest rival!!

I doubt this information would help you however!!

yeah, double check with the place though - in the terms and conditions, most places do accept them I was surprised to learn - even if your policy document says anything other than 1 year.

i wouldnt get a micra, just had a go of my aunties new one and its utter gash, going from your audi to this micra is like going from D&G to C&A, the gear box is horrible and the steerings floppier than a pillheads cock, and theyve got less power than my smoothie maker

I'm with Direct Line and have been since I passed my test 6 yrs ago. It definitely doesn't feel like I've been driving that long  Anyway, when I first started out, I ended up buying an old Fiesta...think it was a K reg for about £1,000. At the time, I was paying something around £1,200 for third party which I thought nothing of at the time simply because I hadn't owned a car previously. Looking back now, thats a shit load of money. I pay under half of that, fully comprehensive on an 03 plate Golf.

You'll find though that most insurers will seriously penalise anyone with no history of insurance and especially those between the ages of 17-25.

elephant are the best for me. 2002 2l focus with performance & appearance modifications with parents on policy was £1300 and i was 20 when i took it out. i also had 0ncb as i totalled my old car with £4200 worth of damage. well cheap considering my premium was £1500 last year and i spent the best part of a day ringing insurance companies to get quotes last year
