youve got an allegiance to a night that copies its poster design / imagery from global underground , its name from a summer holiday, its grammar from error (eg: _ vs, > ) and draws its lineup ideas from habit and promise of old

stick that in your pipe and smoke it

    awaits backlash

but i will have 50 quid on the fact that I am still doing events when you are paying your mortgage and changing your kids nappies when minimal and electro house are but a distant memory

remember tis a marathon not a sprint

Well seeing as everyone we’ve had on/are planning on having on have never played Newcastle before (although im not sure if Jody Wisternoff has played up here but if he has it certainly hasn’t been for a few years at least) im not quite getting your point. Were a Deep/Tech/Prog night. How could the line-ups possibly not be similar to Habit or any other night that fits into those genres?

Definition of Jaunt: “A short trip or excursion, usually for pleasure.” Kind of sums up a night out me.

    Very Progressive House

Plenty of nights use things like that. I don’t recall there being a problem with Habit using a colon with there logo. Bet the Shindig lads were really pissed of as they’d used a colon with their logo before. Its not as if its just a random “ > “ either. It gets used as part of the artwork as well. Check all of our posters/flyers/myspace

One flyer has slightly resembled GU's artwork and tbh Bookless has done a class job on the artwork. Look at all the compliments about the flyers/posters in the threads of ours.

Not quite sure where Electro & Minimal comes into all of this but regardless of whether that statement turns out to be true or not all were trying to do is put on quality party's whilst having fun along the way. Shocking behavior I know. I apologize.

Why do you feel that all that needed to be said? Other than Mambo’s comment earlier where have we been disrespectful to your night? Or in fact any other night/promoter?

Old man, I'm not sure if the design of your flyers are supposed to reflect the spasticated charictoristics of your clientel or there just shit?

I think ours look quality and so do most but I'm sure your over 30's group think the same about yours...

As for bookings, none have played in Newcastle before, they are however House & Tech House DJs so do play the same genres of music that other nights would host, I might be able to say the same about your charver fest but as far as I can see you don't book DJs...

imo i think the jaunt flyers always look wicked, i can see th GU influence in them but its not really a bad thing. having said that though melt, isnt the back of that detox flyer off i am legend or some other such film ?
