I have a cousin called Taylor for a boy, and another called Rogue for a girl

if i had 3 boys id call em fuck off, shit and manners

i bet if this thread is dragged up in a year, alot of people will cringe when they see what they put down...

not saying they're shite or anythin, its jus i know a few peeps who named their kids 'cool' names in the last few years, an now they hate them...

think i'd probs go for a cool sounding 'classic' name, not sure what like tho,

some names jus sound wrong after the poor bastard is over 10 years old...

i've liked those names since i was a kid...altho my doll was called john paul after the pope cos i got him the year he visited britain!!! (the good catholic girl is coming out in me now!!)

but the name iona depends on the surname!! i.e. u cudn't call her that if the surname was macintosh like some bloke did cos then it reads i own a macintosh!!

hehe, was only talkin bout some of the peeps i used to go to school wi, sometimes see them now an have to hold back the giggles when they tell me what their kids are called...

i think it goes by who you 1st knew properly wi names that make you think they are good sometimes, cos i like sam an elenor, an they were 2 of the girlies that i 1st fancied...

my names ok, but most peeps call me by a nickname anyways...

i have about 5 diff one's depending on who i'm with...

Funniest name story I've heard is one of my Mums old colleagues.

Her name is Honour Over but even funnier than that her maiden name was Todd.

when i was little, i had an imaginary family (was a game i played with terri which we wouldnt let georgina in on cos her daughter was always bobby and she had a horse)

they were matthew, jennifer and my little baby martin...always wanted a son called martin..but if martins gonna b the father it will make it awfully confusing, hence calling my 1st sum martin nicholas and then just calling him nicholas.

i have a feeling i will be left to the naming nehow...martin has very little ideas on baby names.

i want my daughter to have a slightly differnt name, but nothing to bizzare...as i felt individual (as there was no other heathers in my year) but not a freak, (as there were other heathers in the school..well...1)

I dont particularly like being called Sarah, it gets very comfusing as it is too common.
Im my class there was 3 Sarah's including me, so when the name Sarah was metioned all three of us would look.

hayley was the big name at primary school...there were 11 people in my year and 3 of them were called hayley.
