    I read from a few sources that one reason why attendences could be down is because of the kick off times which are changing more and more to suit TV audiances. It was easy and convenient for people to get to a 3pm kick off on a Saturday. Now Middlesborough only have one 3pm kick off until January and other teams are no doubt in the same situation, especially those playing in Europe.

    The mackems managed 11k in the carling cup will done we got nearly 3 times that in the staduim just to see Michael Owen hold a ahirt above his head
