Dont want to upset Mark by blatantly advertising on here about it as its the same date as Promise in July.

check the obvious place though and all will be revealed.

Dunno about everyone else, but if im gonna have a big night out, i prefer it to be on a Friday.

That way i have more time to sort myself out before going back to work on Monday. If i do afters having been out on a Saturday night, it kills me these days. Gettin old.

Also im more desperate for a drink on Friday. Soon as i finish work, im bang up for it. The pints just flow down.

    not true
    thats your opinion
the crowd was far far worse in the proggy days 500 punters 450 male trainspotting dancefloor bores ,
There is now a good mix of people enjoying themselves
The amount of bother in promise is the same as it has always been ,

I suppose it's quite difficult to judge what sort of people are now filling Promise up. But to be fair Mark, I'm walking about the club, and on the dancefloor alot more than you, and that's my opinion of how Promise is now, and I'm sure quite a few people would agree with me.

You said earlier about Promise being on a Saturday. Surely that would be a bad move if Shindig moves to the Powerhouse, and then another top dance name moved into Foundation. That would be a hell of alot of competition. Unless it's actually Promise moving into Foundation on a Saturady!

Im not quite sure how I feel about this tbh  Maybe Ill be less tired on Saturday's so may even go more often.

I can see it being interesting being on the same night as Shindig and the possibility of these new nights coming up. But Im sure its been looked at from a business point of view, and if its not going to profitable, then it wouldnt be done.

    All good.

Promise on Saturday's would be great as well. A major part of the target market work Saturday's so going out every Friday must be a struggle.

I liked Powerhouse - cool 2nd room upstairs as well.

I know this is off topic, but just out of curiosity, have there been any 'live' acts at foundation since the change of ownership?
