I've read quite a few reports that a lot of developers don't want to design games for the PS3 becasue of how mroe complex it will be even to get results as good as the games on the 360, never mind to exceed what it can do.

Look at games like ridge racers etc- they were previously ps exclusives (on every ps console) but they may not be getting released at all on ps3 now.

Sony have done what hey did with PS2 and shown a load of pre-rendered videos that look like they are in-game footage at all of the video game conferences etc- neglecting to mention that they are just renders...

They go on about technical brilliance and yet the PS2 was less technically able than the gamecube or xbox yet it still manages to outsell both because the games are good- if sony lose the support of the developers by overcomplicating things, then the PS3 will be a big disappointment

your right, but what are you expecting, the xbox will never ever ever out sell or become as popular as the playstation, because the chinese and japanese markets are so big, and in general these markets don't like xbox because of the american/european style games, which they don't like. The games we see in our country are very different to what they buy in japan, and until xbox start producing those in depth rpg's and doing it well they are never gonna stand a chance.

most places dont sell the 360 without at least 1 or in many cases, 2 games as they dont get much back from the sales so your looking at £280 for the system then 2 games, £40/45/50 for the current titles so £380

I never said that it would outsell playstation, all i'm saying is that they might not have got it righ this time round- which won't affect them this generation but if thyey screw up badly (like sega did) it'll cause problems with further generations of hardware.

To be honest, for the stuff I like to play, I think the new revolution will be better than both cos nintendo are doing something different which noone else does. plus, there's the fact you can download and play all games from all generations of ninterndo consoles which will appeal to a far wider audience

condemned is good but it doesn't last very long- graphics are class and it's canny tense in parts as well

same with nintendo they will also always outsell xbox because of the japanese and chinese gaming markets.
