tiesto - the king. love his sets. love the structure to his sets, and the tunes he plays. like the way he starts proggy, and finishes hard, but always with the deep tiesto slant on things.

its pretty close for second and third....not really sure tho!

    would choose out of

    jon o'bir
    ben woods
    hardwick
    DJ Yoda
    Shan
    Tidy boys
    Tulip
    Lee Foster
    Goldenscan
    Armin

    loads really...

Derrick Carter Cos he's Derrick Carter, Nuff said.
Paul Woolford Go to Shindig on July 5th & see why ;)
Scott Bradford A little different from the above two, but an outstanding DJ, that deserves more recognition than he receives.

I've never seen Mark, but heard good things about him.

Never seen Scooby play a main room either, but apparently he's very diverse too.

Yeah, with Ali Whitehead is his next one, sure there's another in the coming few months too.

Allister Whitehead is a bit :spangled: tho, Shindig need to be dragging in more 'unexpected' bookings.
It's one of the biggest House nights in the country, been going as long as any, but doesn't compete bookings-wise at all with any of the other 'big guns' like Sankeys, Basics, etc. :(

Dangermouse - Rockliffe, you have fine taste my friend ;)

they draw primarily a local crowd and do well out of it. I don't think they need to compete with other big clubs such as Sankeys. The club as you know has recieved nation wide recognition in the form of awards 2 years running. After spending 6 years clubbing @ the dig I have never spoke to anyone who has travelled to go there. But it's always busy and always rocking

    currently it stands as so....

Unabombers - diverse without being difficult, with a slightly punky ethic and technically fantastic.

Yousef - incomparable skill and booty shaking selection.

Jose Padilla - the ultimate mood DJ (not moody!). No one can move an audience quite like him, no matter what style.

Charles Webster, Doc Martin, Derrick Carter all hot on their heels

In my current mood I think I'd go

Erol Alkan... not for technical ability, purely for tunage.
Jon Sa Trincha... he's my jose
Primecuts... undoubtly the best hip hop dj on the uk circuit.
