    Woogate & Bellamy joint award for me.

    I know they only played about 20 games each, but they were both superb every time they appeared.

    I think Given, Speed, Shearer and Bernard are the only other realistic contenders.

    The rest, well . . . . . . :rolleyes:

    Given, Shearer and Speed all played superbly all season, but I would give it to Brenard. He has been the most improved player by a mile, and I just hate to think what we would of done without him if he had of went to West Ham, I don't really like to think about it tbh!:)

    Same problem with Mendieta and Juninho, all three of them played well in patches then went of the boil for a while
