I'm not counting our chickens yet tbh. If there's one thing that a lifetime of watching Sunderland has taught me, its that no club is better at snatching defeat from the jaws of success.

A win on Monday and then its job done, until then I'm saying fuck all. :D

iv just registered on the villa website but tickets are not on general sale yet!

they will put a bullet in the head of the old lame dog that is newcastle united fc

"my sources" tell me Ashley is preparing to throw the club into complete receivership if they go down, almost instantly

They'll need atleast a draw to stay up and other teams results to go there way. Oh dear.

Aston Villa are in a team in Birmingham, which is where we are playing - Im sure he isnt that thick to register on the Villa website, buy a ticket for the match & then going to Newcastle to watch it

I would of thought it would of been going right off there and you wouldnt of had time to do this, failing that your online looking for hotels for Pompey away on Monday for your home village aye ;)

are you still spouting this bollocks?

Your team is still not safe by any stretch of the imagination and you're still pattering on about ours- we are both fucking woeful ffs and even if yous don't go down this season you will be very very lucky to avoid it next- I notice that no one has come close to your worst team in the premiership ever total yet- I fucking hate all of this bitter shite that seems to be trotted out by the vast majority of sunderland fans at every available opportunity- a bit of local rivalry is fair enough but all this about hoping we get relegated is just bollocks and smacks of massive bitterness. Have you ever seen your team get close to challenging for the title? no. have you ever seen your team play in the champions league? no. How about europe? no. How about getting to the latter stages of any cup competition? no. I genuinely couldn't give a fuck that my team hasn't won any silverware for 30 years but I am so fucking glad that I have seen them beat and in some cases absolutely destroy some of the best sides in europe on more than one occasion- how many games have you seen sunderland do that in? very few if any. The thing that pisses me off the most is that a lot of your fans seem to care more about newcastle failing than anything else, its just absolutely ridiculous.

How exactly WERE we staying up? Level on points with the team below us, only out of the bottom 3 on goal difference?

Or is that what the "taunt" was scrapped for?
