to shamelessly quote what someone (who knows the score) once said on this board.

There are three types of people

    Yorkshire people
Those who want to be from Yorkshire
and those who have no ambition at all

I'm yorkshire and proud, get off our tea will ya :p

*whoever that quote belongs to, step forward to claim your credit*

Tell me, will I become more "yorkshired" if I drink it?

That is, if I'm allowed to drink it!

yorkshire people, when they speak, have a tendency to miss out words dont they..

Take dog for walk, go shop, buy paper...

Which roughly translates to in normal english:

"I m just taking the dog for a walk to the park, on the way home i ll pop in the shop, and pick up some milk, a loaf of bread, and a copy of the Telegraph, i ll be back soon, and i ll have a cup of Yorkshire Tea when i get in, see u in a bit"

Check this random slice of propaganda:

"This box should satisfy the most avid tea drinkers requirements for some time! Remember that even for a modest consumption of two single bag pots a day this box will only last about 8 months! One of the joys of buying in bulk is the opportunity to share your tastes round generously with friends and family. Remember Taylors Tea is the best! Its from Yorkshire of course!"

Of course! It must be the best! TidyTea.

it's been renamed now has Tetley. It used to be "Joshua Tetley". But now, the marketing people in their wisdom have shortened it to "Tetley's". You used to be able to get a pint of mild too.... mmm... them were days. (there u go Doggie - i've missed out words!!)
