are you that thick to realise that its not that long ago newcastle had so called 'poor' attendances and that football hasn't always been this commercial? in 1991 newcastle's average attendance was 16.879. newcastle struggled to fill a smaller st james park little over a decade ago, boro and sunderland were also yoyo clubs with similar problems regarding crowds. its natural in that situation. keegan turned newcastle into a good team that played good football and thats why newcastle have the fanbase... do you really think if newcastle got relegated that you would sell out each week year on year? wind ya neck in screech.
